Learn more about the community support and frequently asked questions I receive about HOME Method, and whether it’s a good fit for your project plans.
Hello! This is episode 228, and as with the last episode, I’ll be talking in more detail about HOME Method, the member community, the group support and covering some of the questions I’m frequently asked about the program.
If you’ve been wanting to know more about HOME Method, and if it’s a fit for you and your project – then this will be a great episode for you.
And, this is a continuation of Episode 227, my last episode, where I covered what’s inside HOME Method. So if you haven’t listened to that yet, please check it out.
If you’re curious about when is the right time to join HOME Method, or how easy or time consuming it is to navigate, then they’re some of the questions I’ll be answering in this episode.
AND if you have NO interest in joining HOME Method, or perhaps you’re already a member of HOME Method, this episode will not necessarily be relevant for you.
Feel free to jump off and catch up on other episodes on the “Get it Right” podcast you may have missed. Or, you can even relisten to episodes – I know I do that every so often on my favourite podcasts, and it’s amazing how you hear different things the second time around.
Now, let’s dive in.
So, as I said in the introduction, in the last episode, Episode 227, I shared detailed information about what’s inside HOME Method, and ran through the learning modules, resources and bonuses you get access to when you join.
And in that episode, I touched on the fact that HOME Method also includes an online group community, where we run fortnightly Q & A sessions to answer questions from the HOME Method members.
So, let me share a little more information about the group, and the way the Q & A sessions work.
When you join HOME Method, you receive an invitation to join our HOME Method community group.
The HOME Method community group is full of the most amazing, clever and generous homeowners I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with online. It really is a special group, where everyone is at different stages of their project, and in different locations, and working towards a common goal of creating their future home in an intentional way.
So whenever someone asks a question, they’re met with a bunch of considered and helpful responses from others in the group.
I seriously am so fortunate to be part of seeing such awesome humans share this journey together, and help each other, and do it in such a caring, intelligent and intentional way.
Recently one of the newer members jumped in and said “Hello, everyone, so excited about this community. It’s been a lonely journey obsessing over our reno and I’m so glad to have found you. Thanks for all that you share, and all the good energy and camaraderie”.
And that really hits the nail on the head, because I find that the HOME Method Facebook group is a place where members find company with like minded homeowners.
There’s also fortnightly Q & A sessions …
How these work is that, whenever questions are posted in the group, or uploaded via the course website, my team collate them on a document, so that I can then respond to them in the next scheduled Q & A session.
I’m really passionate about giving helpful answers and suggestions on what to do, and so I love these Q & A sessions for being able to provide that type of support.
What kind of questions get answered in these sessions?
Well, it’s everything from design issues, floor planning suggestions, dimensions and setout info and detailing ideas, to material questions, to planning information, to how to have a specific conversation with a consultant or builder, to how to deal with something unexpected happening, or prioritising decisions, or a raft of other things.
We have a rule in HOME Method: no question is a silly question. And for me, no question is off limits.
Let’s go through some of the other frequently asked questions I receive about HOME Method. In this episode, I answer answer questions about:
- The difference between HOME Method and the other online courses Undercover Architect offers
- Whether a membership to HOME Method includes all the other courses
- When is the best time to join

- How long it takes to do HOME Method, and how access to the program works time-wise, and if you can do it more than once
- Whether it’s suitable for renovations or new builds, and what project budget does it best suit?
